मंत्री Pratap Sarnaik यांनी बकरीददरम्यान सोसायट्यांमध्ये अनधिकृत बकऱ्यांची कुर्बानी झाल्यास पोलिसांनी कठोर कारवाई करावी, अशी भूमिका मांडली. मीरा-भाईंदर शहर शांतताप्रिय असून बाहेरचे काही नेते वातावरण बिघडवण्याचा प्रयत्न करत असल्याचाही आरोप त्यांनी केला.
तसेच डिझेल-पेट्रोल आणि महामंडळाशी संबंधित आर्थिक अडचणींवरही त्यांनी भाष्य करत राज्य सरकारच्या मदतीची गरज व्यक्त केली.
